PT Pesona Sentra Utama is the holding company of the PSU Group.
The PSU Group is an Indonesian shipping group that owns Equinox, the leading Indonesian maritime services group, and has shipping investments in FSRU, LPG, and offshore.
The Group’s Headquarters is at the Globe Building, in Jakarta.
As the Holding company, it manages and grows its portfolio of businesses and provides corporate, treasury, and tax services to the PSU Group companies.
History
Beginnings 1980s
It began as an Indonesian brokerage service in Jakarta and became an owner of tankers primarily on long term charter in Indonesia.
Public Phase 1990s
In 1994 went public via a US$250m listing of Osprey Maritime. Spent $1.5Bn acquiring PetroBulk and Gotaas-Larsen Shipping Corp (now Golar LNG) Osprey sold to billionaire John Fredriksen in 2001.
Reinvention 2000s
- In 2001 started Equinox, a domestic Indonesian Shipping company
- Acquired Ro-Ro and Dry Bulk vessels
- Established PSU as the holding company and invested in FSRU, LPG and offshore AHTS
